Marjetica Potrč‘s exhibition Water and Land draws attention to the coexistence and cooperation between people and nature. It focuses on two renewable natural resources, water and soil. In order to make the exhibition as inclusive as possible for visitors, the gallery space has been converted into a space for creative workshops.

The inspiration for the creative process are the exhibited diagrams and series of drawings in the form of visual essays that refer to water and rivers, soil and planet Earth. An interesting starting point for creation can also be the Slovene folk song There Came a Mouse from the Mousery, which playfully shows to the participating children how relationships between living beings are created in nature.

For this purpose, a large paint wall, paper and various pencils are available in the entrance hall. Participants are invited to creatively express their understanding of the content of the exhibition through words or images. If you wish, you can keep your art product, or you can leave it on display in the gallery!
