WORKSHOPS OF THE 57TH INTERNATIONAL PAINTING COMPETITION EX-TEMPORA PIRAN 2022
The time of the international painting competition Ex-tempore is always colorful and full of challenges, also for children. During the week that the competing painters had to create their work, workshops for children were held in the Monfort Gallery with finger paints, textile paints and chalk paints for painting concrete and asphalt surfaces. This was followed by the creative workshop with exceptional POSCA markers, which are great for a variety of surfaces such as shoes, school bags, skateboards, textiles, porcelain, canvas, blackboards…
Although it was the first day of school, some school groups managed to compete in the children's Ex-tempore Piran. They created their artwork in a race against time. At the Ex-tempore exhibition, students absorb knowledge about this international event, about various painting techniques, motifs and, through their feelings and with their own eyes, they reinterpret the work of the chosen author.
