Different activities in Piran, Koper and Ankaran | The program will be published at the beggining of Feburary

This year's “Prešeren Day 2022" is organized by the Piran Coastal Galleries in collaboration with art pedagogue and artist Matjaž Borovničar and art pedagogue Andreja Ozebek. At the occasion, school animations and GIFs from different parts of Slovenia will be presented. The set of animations and GIFs will be combined into a video and sent to all participating primary and secondary schools, where they will be shown to the pupils and students as part of Prešeren Day. They will also be shown on the PCG’ website, its Facebook page and on the PCG’ YouTube channel.

This year, as many as seventeen schools are participating: Šmarje pri Kopru Primary School, Sečovlje Primary School, Prade Primary School, Kidričevo Primary School, Electro and Maritime Secondary School (GEPŠ), Gian Rinaldo Secondary School Koper, Dornberk Primary School, Branik Primary School, Fran Albrecht Kamnik Primary School, Koper Secondary Technical School, Hrvatini Primary School, Gračišče Primary School, Šturje Ajdovščina Primary School, Sostro Primary School,
Vicenzo e Diego di Castro Primary School Piran, Koper Secondary School and Rudolf Ukovič Podgrad Primary School. The film Stories of My Place will be shown on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at two more accessible locations in Koper and in Portorož or Piran.
