The Loža Gallery is situated on the first floor of the city lodge. The building, erected during the 15th century according to the characteristic Venetian Gothic style, is located on the main square of the city centre, facing the Praetorian Palace. The gallery built its reputation in the international art scene as a pivotal painting institution, organizing retrospectives and contemporary exhibitions of Slovene and international artists.
