Francesco Bertocco: Breaking the circuit of control |

The exhibition is dedicated to the cultural legacy of Franco Basaglia, a leading figure in the transformation of modern psychiatry and a proponent of a radical critique of total institutions. At the heart of the research is the journey undertaken by Basaglia to Brazil in 1979. By retracing its stages, meeting witnesses, and traversing places marked by the history of institutionalization, Bertocco constructs a visual investigation that interweaves photography, video, and documentary research.
