From April 20 to 24, 2026, the international workshop (Erasmus+ BIP) “Re-thinking Piran: Architectural and Urban Identity of the Street" will be held in Piran.

Architecture and urban planning students will explore the streets following the NEB (New European Bauhaus) guidelines: aesthetics, sustainability, and inclusion. Students will work in international teams and use various methods, including literature review, photography, interviews, measurements, drawings, and visualizations.

The project partners are the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), the University of Split (Croatia), and La Salle-Ramon Llull University (Spain).

The workshop »Rethinking Piran« is part of the series »Rethinking Islands« (Korčula, 2025) and »Rethinking Barcelona« (planned, 2027).
