We warmly invite you to a guided tour of the major retrospective exhibition by internationally acclaimed European artist Bernhard Rüdiger, titled Failed Again (Seventh Trumpet), which will take place on Friday, 24 July 2026, from 7:00 p.m. onwards at the Piran Civic Gallery.
The tour will be conducted in English by the artist himself, Bernhard Rüdiger, accompanied by the exhibition’s co-curator, Matic Bukovac, who will provide simultaneous translation of the artist into Slovenian.
The exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of the artist’s creative journey from 1985 to 2025, featuring a selection of key works from his extensive oeuvre, including sculptures, installations, drawings, paintings, sound projections, film, and other works. Through his distinctive artistic language, Bernhard Rüdiger invites reflection on the relationship between art, society, and contemporary history, while encouraging visitors to engage in a holistic and sensory experience of the artwork.
The exhibition is among the flagship projects of national significance in the 2026 programme of the Piran Coastal Galleries.
