GALLERIES OUTSIDE is a new OGP initiative and an attempt to establish new links and connections with the audience, in difficult times like this when public spaces are almost completely closed.<\/span><\/p>\n

On the 8<\/span>th<\/span> of February, the Slovenian Cultural Holiday, spectators will be able to visit the open-air exhibitions, with artworks realized by nearly a thousand primary and secondary school students, as the result of the Pre\u0161eren graphic workshop OGP 2021.\u00a0 The artworks will be on display until the 8<\/span>th<\/span> of March on the shop window of the former store Poster, in \u010cevljarska ulica in Koper, in the park and on the windows of the Herman Pe\u010dari\u010d Gallery in Piran.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Pre\u0161eren's Day, we are also preparing a double event related to the presentation of the first extensive monograph by Jaka Jera\u0161a, which will take place in the presence of the author and the curators of OGP. The presentation, which will begin in the morning under the vaults of the Lo\u017ea City Caf\u00e9 in Koper and continue in the afternoon on the terrace of the Piran City Caf\u00e9, is linked to the exhibition of the Koper photographer (the exhibition will be open until 28 February 2021). After the presentation of the book, three established Piran poets will read their compositions:\u00a0 Vanja Pegan ,\u00a0 Marko Mati\u010detov\u00a0 and\u00a0 Marino Maurel , and young authors\u00a0 Luna Rosso\u00a0 (Piran Primary School) and\u00a0 Denise Ventrella\u00a0 (Antonio Sema Piran High School).<\/span><\/p>\n

We will share the events with the public via social networks and streaming on the YouTube channel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PRESENTATION OF THE MONOGRAPH WITH JAKA JERA\u0160A<\/strong><\/p>\n

from 10:00 to 12:00 under the volts of the city caf\u00e9 Lo\u017ea in Koper<\/span><\/p>\n

from 14:00 to 16:00 in front of the Piran City Gallery (the signing of books will later take place on the ground floor of the Piran City Gallery). Connect to the streaming!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

POETRY READING SCHEDULE<\/strong><\/p>\n

from 16:00 to 17:00 pm: in front of the Piran City Gallery (Vanja Pegan, Marko Mati\u010detov, Marino Maurel, Luna Rosso and Denise Ventrella).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation in Piran will be broadcasted live with a screen projection on Tartini Square.<\/span><\/p>\n

Similarly, the gallery contents are spreading outwards in Piran, with Jaka Jera\u0161a's photos dedicated to the saltworks displayed on the windows of the Piran City Caf\u00e9 (ground floor of the gallery on Tartini Square), creating a new visual identity for the windows of the caf\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

GALLERIES OUTSIDE is a public program intended as a welcome entertainment for passers-by, which OGP implements in cooperation with the Municipality of Koper, Mediadom Pyrhani, ZKD Piran and OI JSKD Piran, City Caf\u00e9 Piran, and with the help of the Italian Community Giuseppe Tartini Piran.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
