We recently opened a retrospective exhibition of the coastal artist ALE\u0160 SEDMAK in the Piran Civic Gallery. A selection of paintings, graphics, drawings and illustrations in various techniques from all periods of his nearly fifty-year creative oeuvre is presented. Ale\u0161 Sedmak is a multi-talented artist who has managed to intertwine his artistic creativity with various other fields since his student years.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

For sixteen years he was the head of the Kaverljag project, the only manifestation of its kind with the international participation of professors and students: his studio in this Istrian hamlet in the middle of the lush nature above the valley of the river Dragonja is noted as the venue for unique educational camps with an emphasis on currently pertinent topics, especially ecology, product usability and networking and the synergy of fine arts and various scientific sciences.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
