The fifth edition of the <\/span>Spekula <\/strong>manifesto, organized by the Faculty of Education of the University of Primorska in collaboration with the Piran Coastal Galleries, presents a study of works of art and phenomena related to the field of the visible and perceptible through the interpretation of collective or individual touch of the creative, empirical implementation through drawing, painting, spatial installation and visual art practices. This year's edition questions and studies the experiences and research of the authors, who use their work to perceive their own individual discoveries through a personal view and touch of their own creations, which consistently generate new memories, truths and stimuli.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Right where the title dictates the treatment of the visible and memory, we meet a group of authors such as: Du\u0161a Jesih, Rajko Apollonio, Miha \u0160trukelj, Maxime Berthou and Mark Po\u017elep<\/strong>. The exhibition, which this year is in the Lo\u017ea Gallery in Koper, intertwines various works supported by the media, which show the complexity and well-founded independent growth of artistic language and the context of individual\u2019s activities. The authors represent high-quality agents both on the Slovenian and international art scene. The timbre, trace, quality that the authors are capable of dictates the standards of contemporary art affirmation and sophisticated art code.<\/p>\n

Manifesto Spekula is accompanied by various events: round tables, guest lectures, accompanying exhibitions, tours of exhibition halls, institutions and creative workshops. The varied program is intended for study engagement; it serves as a platform for the development of artistic achievements within the local community and the university environment, as well as for the promotion of the new Visual Arts and Design<\/em> study program at the University of Primorska, Faculty of Education.<\/em><\/p>\n

This year's edition will begin on October 5, 2023, at 6 p.m., with the opening of the central exhibition The Memory of the Visible and the Touch at the Lo\u017ea Gallery in Koper, which will be on display until November 5, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
